Rabbit Snuffles

Snaffle is one of the diseases that our domestic rabbits have. It is usually caused by direct contact with bacteria or other infected organisms. In this disease, the eyes, nose, ears etc. organs of the animal are especially affected.
If your pet rabbit is infected with the pasteurellosis virus that causes this disease, they should be kept separate from other pets in the household. If kept separately, the disease will not spread to other rabbits in the house.
