Cleansing
Sour yogurt is a great cleanser for all skin types. Beat sour curd well in a bowl, mix it with camphor. Massage the skin like a cleanser and wash your face thoroughly.
Hot steaming
Hot steam works best on oily skin and acne prone skin. Hot steam should never be used on dry skin. It opens the sebum plant on the surface of the skin, and the melanin below is frozen. Melanin accumulates and creates problems in the face. Do not use hot steam even if you have acne-prone skin. In that case, paste of three-four cloves and use with flour will be beneficial.
Scrubbing
Rice powder is very useful as a scrub. Can be used on all skin types. The ingredients of rice powder are very fine so they blend easily with the skin. After soaking the rice powder in warm milk, add a few drops of honey and gently apply it all over the skin. Yogurt works well on the skin when it is warm. Facials at home have the option of using a machine while scrubbing. Not many. Whatever sour curd or milk is used for this, skin germs or bacteria die in hot conditions.
Facepack
Use natural ingredients as much as possible for facials at home. Make a face pack by choosing the ingredients according to the skin type. Using the wrong ingredients can cause skin rashes. Apply a small amount on the skin of the hand and wait for a while. If there is no burning hash or skin discoloration, the ingredient is your right choice.
Facepack according to skin
Multani miti is a good ingredient for oily skin. Multani soil can be bought in the shop. Multani soil can be mixed with water and applied on the skin. If you have spots on oily skin, mix Multani soil with potato or tomato juice and apply it on the skin. Wash your face after 10 minutes. Any kind of fruit works well as a face pack for dry skin. Use only those that are readily available and affordable. After soaking peanuts for five minutes, you can mix a little kaolin powder with it and use it on the skin. Dead skin cells will be removed, brightness will increase.
Conch powder is a good face pack for combination skin. Mix conch powder, haritaki powder and rose water together and apply the mixture on the skin. After 10 minutes wash your face with water.
Toning
Mix a cup of rose water with a tablespoon of glycerin and a pinch of camphor to tone the skin. This mixture will not spoil easily if camphor is used.
Moisturizing
Finally, a good moisturizer must be used on the skin. For oily skin it is better to use a water based moisturizer, for dry skin it is better to use a moisturizer with a higher concentration of oil. You can make a moisturizer by mixing one cup of aloe vera gel, two tablespoons of glycerin and two tablespoons of olive oil well. To keep this moisturizer good for a long time, three-four vitamin ‘C’ tablets can be powdered and mixed very well.
