Ingredients:
Rice 1 kg
Peas 3 cups
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion 1/2 cup
Cinnamon 2 pieces
Broken cardamom 3 pieces
Bay leaf 1
Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Salt 2 teaspoons
Method:
Wash the rice well. Fry the onion in hot oil in a pan until brown. Then grate it with ginger, garlic paste and bay leaf. Now keep stirring with the rice on a low flame. When the rice is fried, mix in the peas. When the rice is grated with the peas, add boiling hot water. Now increase the flame of the stove and remove the lumps. When the rice boils, reduce the flame. When the water dries up and the polava becomes clear, remove it.
